Effects of deformation conditions on the superplastic deformation behavior of LZ91 Mg-Li alloy under electric field

چکیده

Abstract. The electro-superplastic effect (ESP effect) can enhance the superplastic deformation ability of alloy, and also make alloy with poor plasticity have properties. Diverse grain sizes LZ91 Mg-Li were successfully prepared through equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) process. In order to explore behavior under electric current, an field assisted uniaxial tensile test platform was designed fabricated. A decreasing constant voltage electrification scheme proposed, experiments different current densities, initial strain rates carried out. results indicate that true strain-stress curve gradually comes steady increase density, presenting a steady-state rheological characteristic. rate has significant on high condition. For fine-grained effectively reduce temperature considerably elongation. This paper enriches understanding action field.

THE DEFORMATION BEHAVIOR OF AZ31 MAGNESIUM ALLOY AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES

AZ31 magnesium alloy is considered as a promising alloy in various applications and industries. Furthermore, to design a proper hot working process (rolling, forging and extrusion), the assessment of hot working behaviour of the alloy is necessary. Accordingly, the hot deformation behaviour of AZ31 alloy was studied through hot compression testing method This was carried out in a wide range of ...

Effects of Carbon on the Microstructure and Hot Deformation Behavior

The effects of carbon content on the dynamic and static softening mechanisms of Ti microalloy steels were investigated both in ferrite and austenite regions. The results obtained showed that recrystallization rate decreased as the percentage of carbon content was increased from 0.0035 to 0.110. This is due to the Ti(CN) and TiC precipitates and also the free carbon content. In the ferrite reg...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

Effect of Deformation-Induced Defects on the Microstructure and Pitting Corrosion Behavior of Al-Ag Alloy

In this study, a wide range of combined ageing treatments and cold work deformations in the Al 4.2 wt% Ag alloy matrix were proposed, aiming to investigate the effect of defects such as precipitates (Ag2Al plates) and dislocations on the mechanical and electrochemical behavior of Al–4.2 wt% Ag alloys. Further reductions of thickness from 10 to 60%, decreases the mean size of Ag2...
